The Hudson Broadcast AP-II is a dual-channel preamp pedal designed in collaboration with Ariel Posen. The left channel is based on a silicon transistor and transformer design, offering smooth, dark, rounded tones reminiscent of old broadcast equipment. The right channel uses a germanium transistor without a transformer, producing a brighter, more open response with a touch of grit. Both sides have dedicated Gain and Level controls, and a built-in send/return loop lets you insert other pedals between them for advanced signal routing.
Built for professional performance, the Broadcast AP-II supports 9 V to 24 V DC operation for increased headroom and features true bypass switching. Four internal trim pots allow precise adjustment of gain structure and low-cut filtering.
