The Bogner Ecstasy Blue distortion guitar effects pedal is based on the Blue channel of Bogner XTC Ecstasy head amps that can be selected via the switch Mode Structure: The Classic 100 Ecstasy,Ecstasy 101, and the 20th Anniversary Ecstasy heads. The Bogner Ecstasy pedal has a switchable and adjustable gain boost, with a mini-controller for gain and volume boost. There are two modes available and Plexi and Blue, a pre EQ Normal, Bright 1 and Bright 2 mode, and the Variac mode.

The Bogner Ecstasy Blue pedal features five discrete Class A gain stages and no op-amps or diode clipping, copying the circuitry of the Ecstasy amplifier’s Blue channel. This design provides clarity, touch sensitivity and note separation never before achieved in overdrive pedals.
